How Do I Change the Color of My Bullets?

If you want to change the color of your bullets, there are a few different ways that you can do this. One way is to use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). With CSS, you can specify the color of your bullets using the “color” property.

For example, if you wanted to make your bullets red, you would use the following code: ul { list-style-type: none; padding: 0; margin: 0; } li { color: red; }

Another way to change the color of your bullets is to use an image instead of a solid color. To do this, you would need to create an image that contains your desired bullet color and then set the “list-style-image” property on your list element to point to that image. For example, if your bullet image was named “bullet.png”, you would use the following code:

If you’re working in InDesign, chances are good that you’ll need to change the default bullets at some point. Here’s how to do it: 1. Open your InDesign document and go to the “Type” menu.

2. Select “Bullets and Numbering.” 3. In the resulting dialogue box, select the ” Bullets” tab (if it’s not already selected). 4. How Do You Customize Bullets in Indesign?

When it comes to customizing bullets in InDesign, there are a few different ways that you can go about doing so. One way is to simply change the size, color and/or font of the bullets themselves. Another way is to adjust the spacing between the bullet and the text, or to add a graphic element before or after the bullet.

Let’s take a closer look at each of these methods: To change the size, color and/or font of your bullets, simply select the text that contains the bullet points and then make your desired changes using the Character panel (Window > Type & Tables > Character). For example, if you want your bullets to be red instead of black, simply click on the “Fill” swatch next to “Color” and choose red from the resulting color picker dialog box.

Or, if you want your bullets to be larger or smaller, simply adjust the “Size” value. You can also change both the typeface and tracking/kerning for your bullets via this panel. To adjust spacing between your bullet points and text, first select all of the paragraphs that contain bulleted lists (Ctrl+A or Cmd+A).

Then open up either the Paragraph Styles panel (Window > Styles > Paragraph Styles) or Control Panel (Windows > Control), and find either the “Indents and Spacing” tab or “Indent Before”. From here you can increase or decrease values for “Space Before”/”First Line Indent”, which will add more or less space between each bullet point and its corresponding text block. Alternatively, you could also create a new paragraph style with these updated indentation values applied.

If you want to get really creative with your bulleted lists, you could also try adding a graphic element before or after each bullet point. To do this, first insert placeholder frames where you want your graphics to go (Insert > Placeholder Frame), making sure that they’re aligned with each other vertically. Next insert your graphic files into each frame (File > Placeholds Graphics).

Conclusion

If you want to change the color of your bullets in InDesign, there are a few different ways that you can do it. You can either use the Bullets and Numbering panel, or you can use the Character Styles panel. To use the Bullets and Numbering panel, first select the text that you want to change.

Then, go to Type > Bulleted & Numbered Lists > Bullets and Numbering. In theBullets and Numbering dialog box, select the bullet style that you want to use from the Bullet Character drop-down menu. Next, click on the Swatch button next to the Color field.

This will open up the Swatches panel. From here, you can either choose one of InDesign’s default colors, or you can create a new color swatch by clicking on New Swatch at the bottom of the panel. Once you’ve selected your color, click OK to close out of both dialog boxes.

To use the Character Styles panel, first select the text that you want to change. Then, go to Window > Styles > Character Styles (or press Shift+F11).
