The paint program is a great tool for editing images and creating new ones. You can change the color of text in paint using this simple method, which requires just four steps:

Open your picture in Paint.

To begin, open the picture in Paint. To do this, click on "Start" and then select "All Programs". Once you've navigated to Paint's location on your computer, click on it.

This will open Paint and allow you to edit or create new images. Now you're ready to change the text color in your picture!

Click on the text tool and type your text into the image.

  • Click the Text tool in the Toolbox (Shift + T).

  • Type your text into the image by clicking on a spot and then typing, or by double-clicking with your mouse and typing directly into the box that appears; either way, use what you’ve typed to determine how much space to leave between letters and words. As you type, you can move your cursor over an existing word or letter to make sure it is positioned correctly before continuing with additional text.

  • To exit out of adding text after placing all desired words on a page, click again on this tool in the Toolbox (Shift + T) or press Esc on your keyboard once more

Double-click on the text you've inserted to highlight it.

To highlight the text, double-click on it. If you don’t highlight all the text, it will be impossible to change its color. If you have trouble finding a way to highlight the text, try clicking and dragging over it for a few seconds.

Click on the "Format" tab at the top of the window that appears.

To change text color in paint, simply follow these steps:

  • Click on the "Format" tab at the top of the window that appears.

  • Select "Text." This will expand a menu of options you can use to format your text.

  • Click on "Font Color" to find a dropdown list of colors that you can choose from and click on one.

Click on "Text Fill".

To change the color of your text, you'll need to select "Text Fill" from the drop-down menu. Once you've done that, you can either choose a new color from the list of colors or click on the Color Picker button.

If you choose to use the Color Picker button instead of selecting a specific color from the drop-down menu, it will appear in front of your document as shown below:

You can then use it by clicking on its small crosshair cursor and dragging to various areas on your screen until you find a shade that works best with what's already there.

Once satisfied with its selection, press Enter/Return or click anywhere outside this window (or anywhere inside it) and then click back in again into where you would like to apply this new shade. You should see something similar to this when done correctly:

Change the color drop-down from "Automatic" to another color. You can choose any hue or shade you want.

  • Open the drop-down menu on the top right of your screen.

  • Change the “Automatic” option to a different hue or shade by selecting one from the color wheel. You can also choose a specific RGB value, or you can use HSL values to create your own custom color.
