How to Defeat Petey Piranha – Cemu Paper Mario Color Splash

By Sharon R. Lee

When I first started playing Cemu Paper Mario Color Splash, I had no idea how to defeat Petey Piranha. He was the hardest boss in the game, and I just couldn't beat him!

After hours of trying different strategies though, I found a way to defeat Petey Piranha without too much trouble. So here are my best tips for defeating this boss in Cemu Paper Mario Color Splash:

The first phase will have Petey Piranha burrow into the ground and try to attack you from random spots.

The first phase will have Petey Piranha burrow into the ground and try to attack you from random spots. You need to run away from the circle he’s in, but you also need to paint a small block of land green so that he eats it instead of you.

Once he does, jump on it when he pops out of the ground and defeat him before he can burrow again.

When he does this, quickly run away from the circle and then back in immediately to not take any damage.

The most important thing to know when fighting Petey Piranha is that you should not stand in the center of the circle.

This can be difficult because it's natural to want to do this while avoiding his attacks, but if you do, he will use his breath attack and hit you with multiple rings of fire at once instead of just one.

So avoid standing in the center of his circle and instead go to either side or back away as far as possible before coming back in for your regular attacks again.

If you're too slow, Petey Piranha will come up from the ground and swipe at you, dealing damage.

If you're too slow, Petey Piranha will come up from the ground and swipe at you. If he hits you, it'll deal damage. The more damage you take, the more likely you are to die.

To save yourself in this case, paint a block of land green (preferably one where Petey Piranha isn't already standing).

This is where you need to paint a small block of land green, and jump on it so that Petey Piranha eats it instead of you.

This is where you need to paint a small block of land green, and jump on it so that Petey Piranha eats it instead of you. Keep fighting him like this for a while until his health is low.

Once he's taken enough damage, he'll try to run away. You can either let him go or keep attacking him until he gets defeated. In my experience, letting him go isn't worth your time because the next battle will be harder than this one was.

Keep fighting him like this for a while until his health is low.

Keep fighting him like this for a while until his health is low. You will know when it is time to use the paint hammer when he starts jumping around more, but be careful not to get hit by too many of his attacks. Keep on dodging and attacking until Petey Piranha's health is very low, then use the paint hammer attack (by pressing ZL) to defeat him!

You'll know when Petey Piranha is about to enter this second phase when he starts shaking his head violently.

Once Petey Piranha's health is low, he will shake his head violently. This is your cue that he's about to enter his second phase and use more lethal attacks. You'll know when Petey Piranha is about to enter this second phase when he starts shaking his head violently.

In the second phase, Petey Piranha will root himself in place by growing large vines out of the ground that latch onto surrounding houses and other objects in order to reach you.

These vines make it difficult for you to avoid being damaged by him as they take up valuable space on screen (especially during boss fights).

In the next phase Petey Piranha will start using much more lethal attacks.

In the next phase, Petey Piranha will start using much more lethal attacks. He'll throw one of his two spiked balls at you, causing it to bounce around the arena before returning to him. This is fairly easy to avoid unless you're in the center of the arena, but this is also where most of his other attacks happen so it's not too problematic.

He'll also start breathing fireballs at you from a distance (or spit them at you if he gets close), which can be jumped over or avoided with a well-timed hammer swing.

In addition, he may send out an electric shockwave that covers nearly half of the stage; if caught in this attack there will be no escape so make sure to stay away from him when he uses this ability!

He'll root himself in place by growing large vines out of the ground that latch onto surrounding houses.

If Petey Piranha grows large vines out of the ground, he'll root himself in place and try to grab you with them. You'll need to jump on these vines when they latch onto houses to avoid being caught—or you can use the vine as a stepping stone to reach higher ground.

If one of Petey's vines is wrapped around your body, press A repeatedly to escape its grasp before it takes control of you completely and sends you flying into space!

It may be a little complicated but if you follow these tips you can defeat petey pirana in cemu paper mario color splash

The first phase of Petey Piranha is fairly straightforward. You’ll notice that he will burrow into the ground and then come up somewhere else on the screen.

The first time he does this, run away from where you are standing and quickly back into the circle before he attacks you with his vines.

Repeat this process until he reaches about 5 HP. Now it gets complicated:

Conclusion

Petey Piranha is a boss that can be defeated with relative ease, but only if you know what to do. Once you've figured out how to defeat Petey Piranha in Cemu Paper Mario Color Splash, get ready for a slew of other boss battles!
